Inspirations Paint Midvale

I went to inspirations midvale to get some paint matched that the previous owner of my house had had mixed up at the same store. I was the only customer in the shop, and I waited at the desk for 10mins to be served by the staff member who had acknowledged me upon entering. I waited whilst he mixed paint, answered phone calls, only to be belittled as I was a young female who did not fully understand or know what I wanted. As I left a tradie came in and was served promptly and politely. I took my business elsewhere and would not recommend unless you are a tradie.

I decided to go here to support a small business instead of just going to bunnings. I'm a young female who hasn't the slightest idea about paint, and was spoken to so rudely and condescendingly when I wasn't sure exactly which paint I needed. It's not hard to ask a few questions about what I need the paint for to help me figure out which paint would suit best, but instead I had multiple questions thrown at me all at once with a horrible tone which was very overwhelming and honesty I left so upset and discouraged about painting my house.

Went in there on impulse to ask about getting some paint matched to a car interior part - had been to an automotive paint store and SuperCheeeep but no joy there, so I was not expecting much from a house paint place. But found the young fellow at the desk very helpful indeed - so a thanks to Kyle in there. I did find an aerosol (enamal) at the front desk area which had a cap colour which looked very close to what I wanted so I was glad I went in there and saved some money.I was going to give 5 Stars but when reading a couple of the 1 Star reviews given by young ladies who had a bad experience and was a bit disappointed that their reviews were not replied to and no explanation given.

The best shop around for paint and painting supplies, really lovely friendly staff who are super knowledgeable and give lots of free advice on your project. They’re family owned, they’ve got a great range and they even give you a birthday gift voucher to spend at the shop! These guys are the absolute best, highly recommend them to anyone!
